Dog-Sitting

So last night one of Mike's classmates called and asked me to watch her dog for her. Tony (the pup) couldn't go to doggie-day care because he'd just been neutered and had to be supervised. It took me about two seconds to decide and clear my calendar (because I do NOTHING for a living).

When she left in the morning (we live in the same apartments) I could hear Tony crying about a half hour after she left. I went down there and found this little guy.

Evidently he has to wear it when no one is around so he won't be able to get at his stitches. Immediately he starts whimpering and climbing all over me - he's still really young and I'm sure he was confused as to why he was left alone. I had to take that ridiculous thing off, he looked so miserable and could barely eat or drink.

We played for a little bit (like hide-and-go-seek until he felt more comfortable with me);hmm . . . she doesn't smell like my mom

I tried getting a good pic of him, but he's a bit wiggly and not one to sit around waiting for a good kodak moment so I got a lot of this. . . .

what's this ?(sniff) . . .

and this . . . .

What is this big black thing? (sniff, sniff, sniff)

I let him finish his food and then we went out for a really short walk - out of the complex and down the main street. Everyone loves a cute dog and this one is no exception.

I even took him to the post office with me.
He wasn't too sure about the whole car thing, but he stayed in his seat like a good boy! He got lots of attention at the post office, but waiting in line became boring for him.

Anyway he's taking a nap now and I'm getting some computer work done. Easy Cheesey.
